Congratulations to Rev. Susan Carole for being elected Michigan's new SDMI Chair. What a great time to be a part of Sunday School Ministries on the Michigan District!
TEAM DAY 2009 is just around the corner - February 28, 2008 at Perry High and Middle Schools. We are working on a new web page for TEAM Day 2009. If you would like to be notified when this web page is available, please send an email to teamday@minaz.org asking to be placed on the TEAM Day email list.
The District Sunday school ministries board exists to help resource the local church to reach their local community for Christ. This is our desire through the various ministries on the District (children, youth, adult, men, women, prime timers, singles, camps, small groups, etc). Our goal is that Sunday school will come alive for the local church! Not just on Sunday mornings, but throughout the week that we can impact our communities for Jesus.
Here we are at the beginning of another church year! As we start this fall season, it is a time to reassess our Sunday school and discipleship ministries. How are we reaching out to others? How are we doing in discipling those we have? Are we making sure that the ministries that we do provide are serving our mission of “… carry(ing) out the Great Commission to children, youth, and adults in preparation for a lifetime of Christian holiness?”
