MISSION MANIA UPDATE:  The location has changed for Mission Mania, Saturday Morning at 10:00am.  Instead of Chapman Memorial, we will be going to Battle Creek First Church.  Zone Chairs, please contact the pastors and NMI local presidents and let them know of the change.  If your zones are not involved, you may want to contact them anyway.  The flyer went out to everyone with an "open" invitation.

From the District Superintendent ...

Dear Michigan District assembly delegates, church family and friends:
 
Linda and I were not aware that Dr. Graves was going to suggest to the assembly that a love offering be given to the DS.  We are so loved and cared for by our district family that such a gesture only humbled us more.  We were overwhelmed by your kindness and generosity towards us.  We know we do not deserve it.  It is interesting how the Lord works unexpectedly.  Just days after the assembly concluded, Linda’s 1998 Buick LeSabre broke down.  When we took it to the garage for repairs the cost came to just under the incredible money gift you gave us!  Thank you so much for your kindness and generous gift, not only did it meet this unexpected financial need, but it reminded us once again what a privilege it is to serve you and the great Michigan District.  We are humbled and forever grateful.  May God bless you during this new church year.
