The Exit 86 on I-96 is 4 miles west of the I-96/I-69 intersection on the northwest side of Lansing.
 
If you are coming from the east on I-69, exit I-69 exit 81 enter onto I-96 west.
 
If you are coming from the south on I-96/I-69, continue on I-96 toward Grand Rapids and do not take the I-69 exit.
